The game analyses a player's pitch and compares it to the original track, with players scoring points based on how accurate their singing is. As part of Sony's 'broader audience' PlayLink range, SingStar Celebration lets you use a dedicated mobile app to turn any Android/iOS device into a makeshift microphone, letting up to eight people join in on the fun together, without the need for endless USB mics. The pitch players are required to sing is displayed as horizontal grey bars, which function similar to a musical stave, with corresponding lyrics displayed at the bottom of the screen. After a short hiatus, Sony's stellar karaoke series is back, offering more multiplayer karaoke fun, and an all new budget price. Players interface with their console via SingStar microphones while a music video plays in the background.
